Hi All...to let you know that the new Supermarket near the train station does proper back bacon. Unsmoked, but not streaky and sliced to a thickness we like.

So that will be the Mercadona then?

I've looked for this and can't find any proper back bacon in the Mercadona, was it just a fluke or do they still do it?

If you seek proper back bacon we get it from CONSUM . It is a german company called Westphalia. But it tastes delicious.

I've just found some proper back bacon in the International supermarket in San Sebastion hurray!! - also Kerrygold butter, It just can't get any better than that.
