I would like to recommend an amazing fitness class that a group of women begun last September. After about a month of Leonardo (the instructor) working out what our needs were he devised a CrossFit program which is a type of highly effective training, of variable intensity, which works the body as a complete unit and without isolating a muscle. The CrossFit seeks to develop ten physical principal capacities, which are: Cardiorespiratory resistance, Muscular resistance, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance and Precision.
It is a complete physical program, suitable for any conditioning or age. It is recognised internationally and of wide utilization for decades in groups that require body conditioning eg. army, firemen, groups of rescue, martial artists, top athletes, etc...
We have even learnt some self defense techniques to add to our confidence and fitness!
If you are looking at getting fit whilst having lots of fun then I can“t recommend this highly enough.
Classes are held Mon, Wed & Fri 9.30-10.30am. At: Calle Lluis Companys 50, Sant Pere de Ribes. Cost: 2 X per week 40 Euros per month. 3X per week 50 Euros per month.
